Lou Malnati's - Schaumburg, IL. Rated 8/10 by JohnP 10/5/2015. Comments: Lou Malnati's was a average experience. We dined in on a Thursday night after 8pm. Given that it's a Thursday night, we expected the restaurant to seat us immediately, but our experience was rather opposite. For a Thursday night, the place was crowded and the wait time for a table inside the restaurant was 30 mins. Luckily, a table was available on the second floor balcony to which we happily said yes. We ordered Combination Platter as an appetizer and a small Malnati Chicago Classic deep dish pizza as an entree.

The food was mediocre - Combination Platter was too oily and the thick layer of sausage on the deep dish pizza made it difficult to eat, however, the sauce was decadent and was spread generously over the pizza.

The service was average as well - nothing special or out of the ordinary. We did love the roof top experience and the overall layout and the setting of the restaurant.
